By using Google Page Speed Insights, you can find out how fast your website is performing in the search engines with data to help you improve your performance.

7. Use “Ask The Public” for additional keyword ideas
Ask the public is a large directory of commonly asked questions regarding your topic of choice. This is becoming more powerful in terms of an SEO strategy because Google has become the website people go to ask questions and get answers. By using a tool like Ask The Public, you’ll find those keywords people are asking the most. Once you find those keywords, you can then create website content to match those questions and start to see awesome rankings!

8. Purchase an “exact match domain”
Exact match domains are domains with a keyword as the URL. For example, if your website was looking to rank for “vegan dog food” – your exact match domain would be vegandogfood.com. The goal here is to have your target keyword in the domain so Google can use your URL to rank your website. Google came out with an exact match domain update in 2013 so make sure to read those guidelines before publishing an EMD or trying to use one for spam purposes.

9. Purchase a “phrase match domain”
Phrase match domains, otherwise known as “PMD’s” are much less spammy than EMD’s and often have a similar ranking benefit. PMD’s come in handy as you can have your branded keyword in there as well as a direct target keyword. For example, if we were trying to rank for “vegan dog food” and wanted to use a PMD, we would want to create a domain such as “eric’s dog food”. Although it does not have the keyword “vegan”, it still has dog food and would appear higher in the searches because of it.
