This week there is competition between Google and Amazon family of products. Googles new line of devices for the home are aimed squarely Amazon’s Echo or equivalent line of devices and it’s not merely Bluetooth speakers thats in question. The line of speakers that are up for debate live in your house, permanently plugged in and connected to the internet, are are commanded by using your voice. In the case of Amazon’s Echo line, you’re speaking to Alexa; in the case of Google’s Home line, you’re speaking to Google Assistant. But which is better? According to Business Insider there a price difference of $30 less, between the 2 products but overall they are identical in terms of functionality. The Google Home is nearly a year-old device whereas Amazon’s second generation Echo is still fresh. Not only will you pay less with the Echo, but you’ll get a newer device. Win-win.
