We start the video by covering how to set-up Google Search Console on your website. We use Google Analytics and go through the Admin section to Add the Google Search Console product and verify it through Google Analytics. Once we do that, we’re able to sign-in to Google Search Console to see our current performance in Google Search.
We cover the Performance area in depth so you can see your top Google search queries, pages, countries, devices, and more. You can look at different dates and analyze different pages to see what keywords drive you the most search engine traffic.
From there, we cover URL Inspection and show you what an AMP error looks like. AMP errors can be difficult to fix, but the URL Inspection tool will give you opportunities if you have any coverage issues in search results. We also show how to fix your Coverage Errors and Warnings by Validating Fixes.
Submitting a Sitemap is very important in Google Search Console because you can tell Google when you add new pages to your website, update your website structure, remove pages, and more, which keeps your website up to date in search results without errors.
One major thing you can do is look at your backlinks to see what websites are currently linking to you, what your top pages are, your internal links, and more.
