Today we’re talking about improving your rank in EVERY search engine.
SEO Or Search Engine Optimization – basically, when people search for a certain keyword, you want YOUR video, or post, or page to be shown.
Now you can apply all these tips anywhere – the first thing you can do to help rank is build your “On-Page” or basically things you can control.
Let’s say you want to rank for “bitcoin” – don’t be vague, don’t keyword your post very broadly. In an ideal world we want to rank for “bitcoin mining”, “bitcoin prices”, “bitcoin tips”, etc., but realistically it’s hard to make that happen. Instead, visit keywordtools.io, type in your keyword, and pick a phrase that you think will be most relevant to what you’re making and use that as your main phrase or what you want to rank for – focus around just that.
You need to make sure that the search engine knows what your post is about. Remember, search engines like to be cohesive.
Next there’s off-pages where you basically think about what search engines want. One of the biggest ways to do this is to have links that lead back to your video.
Let’s say someone posts an article about bitcoin and you have one too – sure, they’re both good articles BUT the first article has thousands of other pages that link back to it, and that search engine will thing “hmm, this seems more reliable” and will rank that article better.
The second thing you want is Social Signals – you want your search engine to see that your post has activity. You want them to think the internet likes your stuff: have someone post about it on Instagram, tweet about it, share it on Facebook, etc.
You can use Fiverr.com or Konker.io to find people to help you do this or you could do it manually! You just need to have Google, Bing, Yahoo!, etc., see your page and understand that they should trust your page and help rank you better.
